Green & Grounded – Mental Health & Wellness Investment

How much do sessions cost?

Rates vary based on service type and session length. For standard therapy sessions (CPT codes 90834 & 90837), sessions are $150. For an intake assessment or initial diagnostic assessment (CPT code 90791), sessions are $175. Additional self-pay incentives include a pre-pay session packages; $525 for four sessions, $785 for six sessions,  $1310 for ten sessions and  $1550 for twelve sessions.

You will also receive a Good Faith Estimate as required by the No Surprises Act (see below).

Do you accept insurance?

Aside from Blue Cross Blue Shield, this practice is self-pay, meaning sessions are paid for directly rather than billed to insurance. This allows therapy to stay centered on you, your goals, your pace, and what feels most helpful without insurance limitations. For clients who wish to seek reimbursement, a superbill can be provided for potential out-of-network benefits, depending on your insurance plan. Clients also have the ability to utilize Thrizer. This approach supports greater flexibility, privacy, and individualized care.

What is Thrizer?

Thrizer is a secure platform that helps simplify the out-of-netwrok process. Instead of paying my full fee upfront and submitting superbills yourself, Thrizer estimates your insurance reimbursement and submits claims on your behalf.  Thrizer verifies your benefits, estimates what insurance may cover, and you pay only your estimated portion at the time of session. They then submit the claim directly to your insurance company. â€‹

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or choose not to use insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) explaining the expected cost of services.
This estimate outlines projected session fees for the year based on your treatment plan. While the exact number of sessions may vary, we strive to provide transparent, predictable information about your care.

or questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-877-696-6775.

What is the No Surprises Act?

The No Surprises Act is a federal law that protects clients from unexpected medical bills. Mental health providers are required to:

  • Offer a Good Faith Estimate for uninsured or self-pay clients

  • Provide clear information about costs before services begin

  • Notify clients if fees change
You can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time.
